I am trying to find more about a William Sewell for his grandson who now lives in Japan. He died in a mining accident in Ferryhill Co. Durham in October 1941 He was a stoneman who returned to work during the second world war and was killed in a rockfall. When he died he was 67 years old so must have been born about 1874. I have his death certificate and the record from the Durham mining Museum but can get no further. Has anyone come across this family?
